Education and Activities


Growing up in a military family that moved often, I understand the importance of getting children settled back into their routines. The Rolla, Missouri Public Schools consists of three elementary schools, one middle school, one junior high school, and one high school. You’ll find dedicated teachers and staff at all of these schools. The Rolla Public Schools are led by Superintendant, Dr. Aaron Zalis. Most of these schools are recognized as Blue Ribbon Schools.

If you are interested in a parochial education, then you will want to consider St. Patrick Catholic School. St. Patrick Catholic School has a wonderful program that begins at the preschool level and continues through 8th grade. Contact me if you would like to schedule a tour.

Extracurricular Activities

There are a lot of places to cool off in the summertime. Enjoy indoor or outdoor swimming at The Centre. You could check out the newest local hotspot called Fugitive Beach. Doesn’t this look like a cool place?


A University Town

Missouri S&T

One thing you can’t miss when you are driving through Rolla, Missouri is the university. Missouri S&T has had two years in a row of record enrollment. When school is in session there is an awesome vibe here in Rolla. I think the university really brings Rolla to life! Did you know that there are some benefits to living in a college town? When you live in a college town like Rolla, Missouri, you get the perks of college student prices. That means you can likely find inexpensive housing options and not to mention an amazing opportunity to watch some great entertainment. Love sports? Catch a  home game of your favorite Miner team.

Missouri S&T celebrates St. Patrick’s day along with Rolla every year. This year marks the 108th parade! It’s a great event and day out for the family. The parade travels through campus and downtown. It’s something you definitely shouldn’t miss!
